About Stan Guo

It's strange writing a bio about yourself but here it goes.

I am a product of the Arcadia class of 97.  I was originally supposed to go to the University of Chicago but got cold feet when I visited the campus.  I ended up enrolling at USC at the very last moment.  I graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in accounting and became a licensed CPA in 2008.

My first job was as a bookkeeper for a small mortgage banker in Temple City.  Once I saw the type of money the loan officers were making, I instantly made the transition to loan origination. The things that I saw during the refinance boom of the early 2000s made me realize that a lot of unqualified people were ruining our business.

I got my real estate broker's license and opened up my first office in Old Town Pasadena in late 2006 at the age of 27.  Due to my inexperience and the mortgage crisis, I had to close the office within 18 months.

My new vision is an attempt to build something meaningful.  I want to build a company that is focused on helping its clients, community and team however we can.  A business that is known for its work in the community.  I hope that one day I can look back and be proud of all of the lives that changed for the better.
